Hi and sorry for the long delay in trying to find an answer to your question. I hope you've found an amazing neonatologist in Chicago.

I did a little research to try to see if I could find someone with that specialization via an online search and it's really hard to do that - there's not a lot of ways to figure this out. I did find a list of neonatologists on US News' website and was clicking around. There were two researchers who I felt might be better leads than the average neonatologist - generally doctors who are publishing and doing current research maybe more up on the latest findings in other issues such as autoimmune - hope I am not making a mistake in making that generalization, but it could be a better place to start. You could ask the question when you call to make the appointment.

Here was the list:
http://health.usnews.com/best-hospitals/area/il/northwestern-memorial-hospital-6430545/doctors/neonatologists

And the two I found on page 1 who had research publications were:
https://www.doximity.com/pub/sara-berkelhamer-md?show_more=true#publications
https://www.doximity.com/pub/kathryn-farrow-md?show_more=true#publications

Good luck, am sending you good energy and best wishes - and please let me know if you figure out a way to cross-reference these two specializations (autoimmune + neonatology).

Take care,
