Hi anyone out there with lupus who deals with a heavy feeling in your legs? I also get a buzzing feeling on my hip. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I have some friends with lupus and asked them about your question. This is what I got back about it:

- I was diagnosed with lupus 10 years ago. I often have a heavy feeling in both my arms and legs. I also get the buzzing feeling in my hips, usually if I set or lay in the same position too long.
- Have lupus and fibromyalgia. Hysterectomy helped a lot with that. Legs hurt still and my hips. No periods has helped a lot.
- Yes, I have those symptoms. Not much helps and stress and menstrual cycle make it worse.
- Heavy restless leg syndrome can be experienced with autoimmune patients.
- I go out in early morning and late evening and it's not too bad. My legs feel like I have blocks tied to them. Having Fibromyalgia makes it worse and if I get overheated it is worse. My hip hurts, stings. Muscle relaxers help me and I take cool showers. I think it helps to walk some. The numb feeling subsides when I make myself walk some. I went to an immunologist/rheumatologist and she fixed my meds for some relief. I know that lupus affects many parts of your body.
