I need more energy

I am living with three autoimmune diseases, I have two children and i work fulltime. After working at an elementary school all day, I find that I am exhausted by the time I get home from work. Upon arriving home I need to rest for a bit before helping my children with their homework, starting supper, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions on how they can continue through a day without the energy slump and need to rest? I am a busy momma and need to keep up with each days tasks.

How are your Vit D and B 12 levels? and if your Vit D is low and you need to take Vit D then you also need Magnesium. .. Vit D and Magnesium go hand n hand..

Vitamin K also helps with Vit. D absorption. gluten free being strict with it and plenty of water also high protein snacks during the day helps out a lot.

Thanks for the advice. I am Vitamin D deficient, but take a supplement for that, as per my Rheumotologist. I don't take magnesium, perhaps I should start. I am very vigilant about eating gluten free. Not sure about vitamin b12. Is that detected through blood work?

yes then can test Vit B12 with blood work- mine was in range but on the very low side of the range. If you need Vit B12 the best one to get is the sublingual dots. They melt under your tongue. It is better absorbed that way- something about it not getting absorbed very well in the digestive track. I also just read recently that there is better quality of magnesium- I bought the cheap stuff :( I have to find that article again cause it told you what kind was the best. Im going to finish what I have though first. I finally found a doctor that knows its not just getting in range but getting to the optimal range.

I am dealing with low energy too. When my joints hurt, I feel discouraged. When my joints don't hurt, usually I feel low energy. I have read that drinking at least 8 glasses of water helps with energy. Maybe we can try this! I feel for you. Your children are still young. Mine are 21 & 17. I can close my eyes for 20 minutes and get somewhat rejuvenated.
