A Podcast With PulpNature.com On Parenting, Self-Care and Community To Be A Happy Autoimmune Mom

I had the honor of talking to Jessica Peavy, co-founder of PulpNature.com, about all things autoimmune, motherhood and community.  Jessica had great questions for me about taking time for yourself, working with your partner to come up with a plan for handling the kids during flare times, and the general approach to motherhood that you have to take as the reality of life as an autoimmune mom.

I loved talking to Jessica and whatever insights I have are in part from what I have learned from the AutoimmuneMom.com community, which has made me a better mom to my kids.  Along the way, I’ve made a ton of parenting mistakes and self-care missteps, so I hope this interview helps autoimmune moms and moms-to-be avoid some of those instead of learning them the hard way.

I also want to give a shout out to PulpNature.com, which publishes daily posts on so many great topics around life with autoimmune conditions.  Check out this website as an amazing resource for those with autoimmune, especially for women in their 20s and 30s.  Thanks, Jessica and Kya – you two are an inspiration!
